A Foreclosure Home that Needed Some TLC

This house was a distressed property that a bank foreclosed on, making this a perfect rehab opportunity. This is an example of a home that we could have purchased quickly for cash. If had we known the home owner was in trouble, we could have helped them avoid foreclosure and the negative impact on their credit.

This property turned out to be one of our favorites. We took a single family home that needed a lot of work and turned it into a real beauty! This was a three bedroom, 2 bath cape that was run down that needed someone to come in with a vision of what it could be.

This property took months to complete (longer than we expected). We replaced the kitchen cabinets, counter tops, refinished floors, paint, mechanicals, you name it… We did it. We even opened the wall between the living room and the kitchen.

One of the reasons we like Manchester, Connecticut is that there are so many great locations with easy access to great schools, shopping, and major traffic routes. It’s a great town for families or singles! Many young professionals settle in this area for the wide variety of great restaurants and the ease of access to work. It is roughly only a 15 minute drive to downtown Hartford, CT making for an easy commute for those who work in the city.
